Ian Asher is a DJ and producer from Southern California who built his name on viral house edits: quick-cut, hook-forward remixes that blend house, tech house and pop into something built for a room rather than a playlist.
His remix of "Makeba" is the one most people know him by. It took Remix of the Year and has since run up billions of plays, and it set the template for what an Ian Asher set does: familiar hooks, rebuilt, dropped harder than you remember them.
In 2026 he holds a Las Vegas residency at Zouk Nightclub, and he is touring between those dates. Five of those nights are ours: a New York Fashion Week show at Club 51 in Manhattan on September 9, an outdoor show at Bloomington Speedway in Indiana on September 17, a club night at Liquid in Madison, Wisconsin on October 8, then Brown University in Providence on October 15 and Syracuse University on October 22.
